Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Clutchat. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Clutchat platform, operated by Clutchat. Please read these terms carefully before using the platform. Clutchat is a completely free competitive gaming platform — there are no purchases, subscriptions, or payments of any kind. All features are available to every user at no cost.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Clutchat platform, including our website and mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Clutchat.
Eligibility
To use Clutchat, you must:
- Be at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- Be a resident of India or accessing the platform from a jurisdiction where online gaming competitions are permitted.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Not have been previously banned or suspended from the platform.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements.
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not share your password with anyone.
- All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
- Providing accurate and up-to-date information during registration and keeping it current.
- Notifying us immediately at support@clutchat.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts.
Fair Play Policy
Clutchat is committed to fair competition. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Cheating: Use of hacks, aimbots, wallhacks, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software that provides an unfair advantage.
- Match Fixing: Deliberately losing, manipulating match outcomes, or colluding with opponents.
- Smurfing: Using alternate accounts to compete against lower-skilled players.
- Exploiting: Abusing bugs, glitches, or platform vulnerabilities for competitive advantage.
- Boosting: Having a higher-skilled player compete on your behalf to inflate your rating or rank.
Violations of the fair play policy will result in penalties ranging from temporary suspension to permanent ban, depending on severity. All decisions by the Clutchat anti-cheat team are final.
Tournament Rules
When participating in tournaments on Clutchat:
- You must adhere to the specific rules and format of each tournament as stated on the tournament page.
- You must be available to play at the scheduled times. Failure to show up may result in a forfeit.
- Tournament organizers and Clutchat administrators have the authority to make final rulings on disputes.
- All tournaments on Clutchat are free to enter.
- Clutchat reserves the right to modify tournament schedules or formats with reasonable notice.
Matchup Rules
For head-to-head matchups:
- Both parties must agree to the match terms (game, mode, rules) before the matchup begins.
- Match results must be submitted accurately and promptly. Submitting false results is a serious offense.
- In case of disputes, both parties may submit evidence (screenshots, recordings) for review by our team.
- Disconnections during a match will be handled according to the specific game rules. Generally, both players should attempt to reconnect and continue.
- Clutchat's dispute resolution team will have the final say on contested match outcomes.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Clutchat platform, including but not limited to the logo, brand name, user interface design, graphics, software code, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Clutchat and is protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent. User-generated content (such as profile information and match submissions) remains your property, but you grant Clutchat a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the platform.
Prohibited Conduct
In addition to fair play violations, the following conduct is prohibited on Clutchat:
- Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or any form of abusive behavior toward other users.
- Impersonating other users, Clutchat staff, or any third party.
- Spamming, phishing, or distributing malware through the platform.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack any part of the platform.
- Using the platform for any illegal activity or purpose prohibited under Indian law.
- Sharing or selling accounts.
Termination
Clutchat reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these terms or for any reason we deem necessary to protect the platform and its users. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. You may also choose to deactivate your account at any time by contacting support@clutchat.com.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of Clutchat shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at support@clutchat.com. If a resolution cannot be reached informally within 30 days, the dispute shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, as amended. The arbitration shall be conducted in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, in English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Clutchat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
Modifications to Terms
Clutchat reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the platform. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
